Join The Adventure
I’ve wanted to move to Florida ever since we visited there in late January or early February one year. Back then I had one child and one on the way. The beginning of the week the temperature dropped so much it was colder overnight in Orlando (27°F) than it was in Bismarck N.D (34°F). We had to buy hats and gloves while we were out adventuring in the theme parks. But by the end of the week we were back to shorts and t shirts and 75°F+ temperatures during the day. We’ve visited many times over the years and even owned rental property there. Now the time is finally coming to make the move. Those experiences will be detailed on these pages for your amusement and if you have similar intentions maybe your benefit as well. Making The Dream A Reality – The first thing to think about is what part of the state to move to. Florida is pretty big, but for us this is a no brainer.
Environmental Concerns – In Florida to get building permits for raw land you have to have environmental surveys done.
The Scouting Mission – If I was going to move in the fall of the following year into a home yet to be built I had to start looking for a lot.
The Find – There was one development with a floor plan that I was interested in.
